Step 3: Payment Mode:

Charges for application of PAN 93 (excluding GST) Indian communication address and Rs. 864 (excluding GST) for foreign communication address. Application fee can be paid through credit / debit card, demand draft or net-banking. In a successful payment, the receipt will be displayed. Save this receipt number.

Step 4: The documents are sent to the NSDL

After application and payment is accepted, the applicant has to send support documents to the NSDL through courier / post. How to make changes / fixes in the pan

As stated above, STEP 1,2,3 is followed by the following procedure

After application and payment is accepted, the applicant has to send support documents to the NSDL through courier / post. Only after receipt of the documents, the PAN application is processed by NSDL. Supported documents should support the changes applied to the PAN. For example, a request for change in the applicant’s or father’s name must be supported by a document containing proof to change the old name from old. Documents to be proved in this regard:

A. For the wedding ladies

Certificate from a Gazetted Officer indicating the name of the husband, the marriage certificate, the name of the change, the name of the passport copy, the marriage certificate, the marriage certificate card, the gazette.

B. For other applicants other than married ladies

A certificate from a gazetted officer to publish and rename a name-change in the Gazette.

C. For companies

Name needs ROC certificate to change. The ROC represents the Registrar of Companies and maintains the Governance and Regulation of Companies Act, 1956.
